I've been doin' music for almost 22 years now...and still i feel so young ;) and then...ukulele...you came into my life in late 2005...dear ukulele, how wonderful you are! you are:
-the perfect fit for the folky
-the quick smile inducer of the beginner
-the snappy jazz of the hipster
-the strangely fitting sound of the hillbilly
-the pop effect of the singer-songwriter
-the atmosphere of the experiment-er
-the proof that Rock n Roll ain't limited to the guitar...tru dat!

ReplyDeleteI played guitar for what 35 years before finally picking up a ukulele. Same reaction...WHOA!! this thing is magic and fun. Now in my kindergarten I play it about half the time. I got a tenor FLUKE.
