am i destined to jam alone?

for about a year, i was doing a rockabilly/garage rock combo as a side project. we did a couple fun shows, we had some good potential and we were able to play both church type environments as well as bars/clubs etc. because of our repertoire.

due to some differences in desire regarding the 'type of sound' we were going for....the project came to a stop.

i've tried off and on over the last 4 or 5 years at least to try and get something cooking on craigslist, etc. i've met some nice people....some who've become friends and acquaintances, but my attempts at getting a couple of musical projects cooking have failed thus far.

am i destined to be a solo artist forever? i hope not. i've got so many simple ideas that would be fun to put in a simple rock combo setting :)
