sunday.

the songs we sang in church today were boisterous and hardy. like gospel pub songs they were (said in yoda's voice).

we were looking at a passage from Ephesians 4 and this portion struck me:

Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called ; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.


the 'One God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all' especially hit me today....that's one uniting piece of scripture if you ask me....that's a peace-making, family joining, suspending preconceived notions sort of verse to me.... :)
